In short
The École Hermès des savoir-faire trains people of all backgrounds, young or retraining, in leather craft trades inside the Hermès manufactories, leading to state-recognised qualifications. Its Allenjoie school, at the Allan manufactory, trains the future craftspeople of the Franche-Comté hub, where Hermès opened its first manufactory at Seloncourt in 1999, followed by Héricourt in 2016 and Allan in 2018. The courses cover leather cutting, saddlery and leather goods (a six-month preparation followed by a one-year CAP Maroquinerie in work-study) and machine stitching.
