In short
The École Hermès des savoir-faire trains leatherworking artisans inside the maison's own manufactures, where the teaching is given by artisans working on the production sites. In the South-West pole, the schools of Saint-Junien and Marthon train the future artisans of the pole; Hermès took over the Saint-Junien glove workshop in 1998, and it also houses leatherworkers. The training paths cover leather cutting, leather stitching and the saddler-leatherworker path, which combines six months of trade preparation with a one-year CAP Maroquinerie in work-study; training costs are not borne by the learners.
