In short
The École Hermès des savoir-faire trains leatherworking artisans within the maison's own manufactures. In the Guyenne pole, the École de Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, in the Gironde, trains the future artisans of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and Loupes leather workshops and is part of the 'village in transition' project led by the commune; it relies on teams from other poles to train and support new staff. The saddler-leatherworker path combines six months of trade preparation with a one-year CAP Maroquinerie, and training costs are not borne by the learners.
