In short
The École Hermès des savoir-faire trains leatherworking artisans inside the maison's own manufactures, where the teaching is given by artisans working on the production sites. In the Normandy pole, the school in Louviers trains future artisans for the Hermès leather workshops of Val-de-Reuil, opened in 2017, and of Louviers, a leather and saddlery workshop inaugurated in April 2023. Courses lead to state-recognised qualifications: the saddler-leatherworker path combines six months of trade preparation with a one-year CAP Maroquinerie in work-study, and the school also trains cutters and leather stitchers. Training costs are not borne by the learners.
