In short

The École supérieure des beaux-arts de Bordeaux (ebabx) is a public art school that prepares the DNA (bac+3, licence level) and the DNSEP (bac+5, master's level) in either art or design. The design option covers object design, space design and scenography, editorial practice and graphic design. Students work in technical workshops for wood, metal, ceramics, moulding, model-making and prototyping, laser cutting and 3D printing. The school's history page traces its origins to an Académie de peinture, sculpture et architecture civile et navale founded in Bordeaux by amateurs and artists.
