In short
Edilmaster is the building-trades training body of Trieste, set up in 1960 by employers' organisations and trade unions and accredited by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. Alongside courses for builders, continuing education and safety training, it runs a three-year vocational qualification for young people as an operator in artistic finishing work in building, covering mosaics, flooring, decorative painting and stone and wood finishes, with half the hours spent in companies and craft workshops. The qualification is issued by the Region and corresponds to EQF level 3.
