In short
The School of Fashion and Design of Ege University in Izmir was officially founded in 2011 and began operating in 2018. It offers four-year bachelor's degrees in Fashion Design, covering woven and knitted surface design, print, garment and accessory design, and in Industrial Design, which admitted its first students in 2025-2026, as well as master's programmes. Elsewhere in the province, the university's Bayındır Vocational School runs a two-year Fashion Design programme and the Bergama Vocational School a Conservation of Cultural Objects programme.
