The Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a tertiary institute whose Hawke's Bay campus is in Taradale, Napier. Its IDEAschool teaches fashion, from garment design and production to a student runway show, with the NZ Certificate in Fashion (Level 4) and the NZ Diploma in Fashion (Level 5), alongside visual arts, music and screen production. EIT also teaches viticulture and wine science, from the NZ Certificate in Winegrowing to the Bachelor of Viticulture and Wine Science and graduate diplomas, with a teaching and research winery, a sensory laboratory and a demonstration vineyard.
