In short

Elverum folkehøgskole is a non-denominational folk high school just outside the centre of Elverum; the school states that it opened in 1928. Its one-year line Ceramics/Painting/Experiences teaches making objects in clay, such as cups, vases, dishes and sculptures, with the basic hand-building techniques, surface work, drying, firing and decoration, alongside drawing and painting. The year has no exams; students live at the school and the line includes study trips to Berlin, Venice and Norwegian ceramic workshops.
