In short
EPICC, at 139 rue des Arts in Roubaix, is an industrial sewing school belonging to the French network of Écoles de Production, private non-profit technical schools recognised by the State. Young people aged 15 to 18 spend 25 of their 35 weekly hours in the workshop, learning professional sewing machines and the whole making process for clothing, household linen and technical textiles while preparing a State-recognised CAP; under «master professionals» they fill real orders from companies and brands of the region. Training is free and groups have around a dozen students.
