In short
The Epping Forest Horology Centre is a non-profit charity near Epping, in Essex, devoted to keeping traditional clockmaking and watchmaking alive. Members join weekly tutored sessions over a 40-week year in two workshops, one for clocks with wheel-cutting equipment and one for watches with 14 professional benches, and the centre also runs a beginners' watchmaking course and one-day and weekend courses. It welcomes hobbyists and professionals and states that its BHI-qualified teachers have helped some members pass British Horological Institute exams.
