In short
The EREA-LEA François Cavanna in Nogent-sur-Marne is a state school providing adapted education, part of the Créteil academy, where pupils prepare two-year CAP diplomas in several trades. One of them is the CAP in fashion trades, soft garments (vêtement flou), which teaches cutting, assembly, pressing and finishing of supple garments, with 14 weeks of work placement. Other CAP courses include cooking and restaurant service; the school runs a training restaurant, a pressing workshop and a sewing workshop open to outside customers so that pupils practise in real conditions.
