ESAN is a school of the University of Aveiro devoted to design, management and production technologies, based on the Parque do Cercal campus in Santiago de Riba-Ul, Oliveira de Azeméis, where it moved into its permanent premises in 2014/2015. Among its engineering and production programmes it offers a bachelor's in product design and technology and a short higher vocational course in product design and digital communication. The school has laboratories and industrial process workshops.
