In short

ESART, the School of Applied Arts of the Universidade Politécnica de Castelo Branco, teaches design and music. Its design programmes include bachelor's degrees in fashion and textile design and in interior and equipment design, and master's degrees in clothing and textile design and in interior and furniture design. The school was created by decree in July 1999 and since 2014/2015 has occupied new premises on the Talagueira campus.
