The Escola d'Art d'Olot is a public school of art and design in Olot, in the province of Girona, founded on 1 July 1783 by Bishop Tomàs de Lorenzana as a school of fine arts; since 1990 it has belonged to the official network of Catalan art schools. Its craft courses include a two-year intermediate cycle in mural coverings, which teaches traditional and contemporary mural techniques with work placements, and a three-year double qualification in sculpture applied to the performing arts and in sculptural moulds and reproductions, covering modelling, mould-making and casting of festive figures, puppets, props and collectibles. It also offers an art baccalaureate, cycles in graphics, illustration, photography and decoration, and, as ESDAPC Campus Olot, degrees in graphic and interior design.
