The Escuela de Arte de Guadix is a public art school in Guadix, in the province of Granada, created as an Escuela de Artes y Oficios in 1934 and housed since the 1950s in the former palace of the Ramírez de Arellano on Cathedral Square. Besides the arts baccalaureate it offers intermediate vocational courses in pottery and in embroidery and lace, and higher courses in embroidery and heraldic hangings (reposteros), artistic cabinetmaking, photography and interior decoration projects.
