The Escuela de Arte de la Región de Murcia is a public school of professional art education in Murcia, whose history began in 1933 with courses in arts and crafts; since 1968 it has occupied a building by the architect Fernando Garrido in the Vista Alegre district. It offers higher vocational cycles leading to the official title of Técnico Superior de Artes Plásticas y Diseño, among them artistic jewellery, model-making (industrial design and 3D prototyping) and sculptural techniques, alongside animation, photography, interactive graphics and illustration.
