The Escuela de Arte de Motril is a public art school of the Andalusian government in Motril, province of Granada. It began as a school of arts and crafts granted by royal decree in 1910 and opened in 1911; it stands on Plaza Cruz Verde, on the site of the former Palacio Ventura. Its craft courses include an intermediate cycle in tapestries and rugs, taught with traditional procedures and materials, and higher cycles in garment pattern-making (Modelismo de Indumentaria) and artistic ceramics; it also offers an arts baccalaureate and cycles in interior projects, advertising graphics and photography.
