In short
The Escuela de Arte Manolo Blahnik is a public art school in Santa Cruz de La Palma, in the Canary Islands, whose history begins in 1913 as a school of arts and trades; it took the name of the La Palma-born designer Manolo Blahnik at its centenary. Alongside the arts baccalaureate, intermediate courses in interactive graphics and intaglio printmaking, and higher courses in animation, photography, graphics and illustration, it offers two-year higher vocational programmes in artistic jewellery and in garment pattern-making, the latter aimed at haute couture, ready-to-wear and other clothing sectors.
