In short
The Escuela de Artes y Oficios Santo Domingo trains artisans in traditional crafts in Bogotá; it was founded in 1996 in restored colonial buildings in the historic centre. It offers technical labour programmes in embroidery, needle knitting, wood, leather, loom weaving, metalwork, bookbinding and dyeing, as well as short courses, craft workshops and intensive workshops with international master artisans. It has one site in the historic centre and one in the north of the city.
