ESMOD Beirut is the Lebanese school of the ESMOD network, the fashion school founded in Paris in 1841, and has been present in Lebanon since 1999. Under an agreement signed in July 2017 with Université Saint-Joseph (USJ), its three-year intensive programme (180 ECTS) leads to a bachelor's degree recognised by the Lebanese government; the programme is divided equally between fashion design and pattern drafting, and in the final year students design and construct a clothing collection. It also offers short and evening courses, such as styling and the pattern drafting of suits and trousers, and is located on the USJ Social Sciences campus on Rue Huvelin, Beirut, with teaching in Arabic, English and French.
