In short

The Jewellery and Blacksmithing department of the Estonian Academy of Arts, a public university in Tallinn established in 1914, teaches jewellery and blacksmithing at BA and MA level. In design the focus is on unique jewellery, and in blacksmithing on architectural details and monumental art objects; the MA programme, Craft Studies, combines studio work with craft theory and artistic research. The department organises student exhibitions, and the academy also offers continuing education through its Open Academy.
