Etec de Cerquilho is a state technical school of the Centro Paula Souza, opened in the first semester of 2011. Alongside courses in business and software development, it offers secondary education integrated with a technical course in Garment Pattern Making (Modelagem do Vestuário). The course teaches geometry-based pattern construction, fabric cutting and digital pattern making, preparing pattern makers who turn a designer's concept into a garment that can be produced.
