The College of Art & Design of Ewha Womans University in Seoul started as the Department of Arts in 1945 and has since developed into its current form. It is organised into a Division of Fine Arts (Korean Painting, Painting, Sculpture and Ceramics), a Division of Design (Spatial, Visual Communication, Industrial and Media Interaction Design) and a Division of Fiber & Fashion (Fiber Arts and Fashion Design). The college also runs a Research Institute of Ceramics.
