In short

The Land- und forstwirtschaftliche Fachschule Silberberg, at Silberberg 1-5 near Leibnitz in southern Styria, is a school of the Province of Styria for future farm successors and skilled workers in viticulture and cellar management and in fruit growing and fruit processing, with a focus on sensory evaluation. Training runs alongside the school's own wine and fruit estate and covers every step from planting a vineyard or orchard to selling the products, including Buschenschank (wine tavern) and farm tourism. Graduates can continue to the master craftsman training in viticulture and cellar management or to the Berufsreifeprüfung.
