Fatec Cotia is a state college of technology of the Centro Paula Souza, opened in the first semester of 2014. Among its higher technology courses is Product Design with an emphasis on production and industrialisation processes, which trains designers of industrial products such as furniture, household appliances, electronics and personal objects. Students learn two- and three-dimensional representation and make volumetric models, scale models and prototypes.
