In short

FDDI Patna is a campus of the Footwear Design & Development Institute, established in 1986 by India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and an Institution of National Importance under the FDDI Act 2017. The 10-acre campus is in the Mega Industrial Park at Bihta, next to IIT Patna and about 30 minutes' drive from Patna. It offers four-year B.Des. programmes in Footwear Design & Production and Fashion Design and a BBA and an MBA in Retail & Fashion Merchandise, with workshops for designing, cutting, closing, lasting, finishing and sampling.
