In short

The Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín is organised into one institute, fourteen studios and a department of theoretical studies, offering bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes. Its design studios, housed in a building on Tomáše Bati avenue, cover footwear design, fashion design, jewellery design, product design, industrial design, glass, spatial design, digital design and game design; other studios teach photography, graphic design, animation, audiovisual work and arts management. The footwear design studio teaches the design of shoes and leather accessories, builds on the region's century-old shoemaking tradition and follows the tradition of the Zlín School of Art.
