In short

Forssan ammatti-instituutti (FAI) is a multi-sector vocational college in Forssa, run by the South-West Häme education consortium (Lounais-Hämeen koulutuskuntayhtymä). In its crafts and design field, artisan studies in ceramics cover techniques such as primitive firing methods, hand-building, wheel throwing and plaster and slip casting, together with product design and materials science, with students making art-craft pieces and functional objects. Graduating ceramic artisans show their work in an annual exhibition.
