In short
The Faculty of Art and Design of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem teaches fine art, design, graphic design and curatorial studies at bachelor's, master's and doctoral level. Its design studios include product design, ceramics, interior design, fashion and textile design, natural materials and glass, alongside studios for visual and graphic design, photography and media. Students work in faculty workshops such as a ceramics centre, a glass workshop, metal, joinery and plaster shops, and 3D printing, CNC and laser facilities. The faculty states that it keeps respect for the traditional technologies and crafts from which it grew.
