Fuzhou University of International Studies and Trade is a private full-time undergraduate university in the Changle district of Fuzhou, founded in 2004 as a vocational college and upgraded to university level in 2011. Its School of Art and Design offers degrees in clothing and costume design, product design and other design fields. The clothing programme covers pattern making and sample making among its career paths, and a Sino-foreign cooperative track lets students spend a semester at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Siracusa in Italy.
