Gamleby folkhögskola is a folk high school in Gamleby, in Kalmar County, whose courses include a line of sustainable textile programmes. The one-year Hållbar textil – grund course covers weaving, sewing and pattern construction, with weekly lessons in design, knitting, crochet, embroidery, life drawing and materials, and leads on to the advanced years Hållbar textil – sömnad and Hållbar textil – vävning; there are also distance courses in pattern construction and remake. The school is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2026.
