In short
The Department of Industrial Design belongs to the Faculty of Architecture of Gazi University, on the university's Maltepe campus in Ankara, and has taught at bachelor's level since 2012 and at postgraduate level since 2014. It trains designers of mass-produced objects, from electronics and household appliances to furniture, jewellery, packaging and automotive products, covering product design projects, product culture and brand strategy. Students have a model workshop for form development, models and prototypes, and a digital design laboratory with 3D scanning, 3D printing and augmented reality.
