In short

The South Australia Division of the Gemmological Association of Australia is located in Adelaide's city centre, in Room 421 on the fourth floor of the Edments Building at 38 Gawler Place, just off Rundle Mall. The division has separate classrooms for theory and practical lessons, a fully equipped gemmological testing laboratory, a collection of gem and mineral specimens and a gemmological library. Courses offered in South Australia include the Diploma in Gemmology, the Diploma in Diamond Technology, Practical Gemmology, Practical Diamond Grading and Introduction to Pearls & Pearl Stringing.
