GIA Hong Kong is the Hong Kong campus of the Gemological Institute of America, a non-profit institute, located at The Bay Hub in Kowloon Bay. It offers courses in gemology, diamond and coloured stone identification and grading, pearls and jewellery design, including gem and jewellery illustration, with classes year-round and no application deadlines. Courses are taught in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and self-paced correspondence courses are available in Chinese; the school mentions visits to diamond factories and to Hong Kong's jade market.
