The Alfred Helwig watchmaking school is the in-house school of the Glashütte Original manufacture in Glashütte, Saxony, where a new group of apprentices begins its training every year and learns to understand and make the components of a mechanical movement. The school is housed in a historic building in the centre of Glashütte, which it shares with the German Watch Museum Glashütte, and it is part of the Nicolas G. Hayek Watchmaking Schools network of the Swatch Group. Besides vocational apprenticeships, the company offers dual bachelor's programmes with the Duale Hochschule Sachsen in Dresden and the Duale Hochschule Gera-Eisenach.
