In short
Greenwich House Pottery is the ceramics programme of Greenwich House in New York City, with its historic centre on Jones Street in Greenwich Village and a studio in Chelsea. It offers multi-week classes and workshops for all levels in wheel throwing, handbuilding, mold making, slipcasting and glazing, as well as artist residencies, a membership studio and the Jane Hartsook Gallery. According to the site, pottery classes began in 1904 as part of a broader handicraft programme, and the Pottery became a department of Greenwich House in 1909.
