Guangdong Industry Polytechnic University is a public vocational university with campuses in Guangzhou and Nanhai. Its School of Digital Creativity, which dates its origins to 1975, offers 15 programmes grouped around product art design, clothing and costume design, environmental art design and visual communication; product design and visual communication design are taught at bachelor level. The clothing group includes jewellery design and craft and courses working with metal, leather and wood, and the school runs an intangible cultural heritage college and states that it is recognised as a heritage and innovation base for Chinese arts and crafts masters.
