In short
Guangdong Institute of Arts and Sciences is a full-time higher vocational college approved by the Guangdong provincial government, in the Lianjiang Economic Development Zone of Zhanjiang; it was founded in 2006 as Zhanjiang Modern Science and Technology Vocational College and renamed in 2012. It has ten schools and 59 programmes. Its School of Arts and Media teaches garment design and craft, covering fashion history, colour and materials, women's and men's pattern making and construction, draping, industrial patterns, CAD, product planning and virtual fitting. At the December 2025 graduation show students presented 23 collections and 90 original garments.
