Guangdong University of Technology is a provincial key university in Guangzhou, formed in 1995 from the merger of three institutions, with several campuses in the city and in Jieyang. Its School of Art and Design, on Dongfeng Road, has six departments, including industrial design and fashion design and performance, and offers nine bachelor's programmes, among them product design, industrial design and clothing and costume design, as well as master's and doctoral studies in design.
