贵州工贸职业学院 is a higher vocational college founded in 2015 in Weining Yi, Hui and Miao Autonomous County (Bijie, Guizhou), on the northern shore of Caohai Lake. Its Art Branch runs a garment design and craft programme covering fashion design, industrial pattern-making, garment construction and production management. The programme teaches the patterns, colours, forms and techniques of the ethnic costume of north-western Guizhou, including Miao embroidery, Buyi batik and Bai brocade.
