Harbin Huade University (HHDU) is a full-time undergraduate institution in the Songbei district of Harbin, founded in 1992 as the Huade Applied Technology College of Harbin Institute of Technology. Its School of Art and Media offers a four-year clothing and costume design programme, formally established in 2005, which covers garment and accessory design and craft, digital fashion and brand planning. The school states that since 2023 it has run intangible heritage activities and developed courses with inheritors of Hezhe crafts.
