In short
Hangzhou Vocational and Technical University is a public undergraduate-level vocational university; established as Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College in 2002, it became a university in 2025. Its School of Modern Textiles and Fashion (formerly the Dali Womenswear School), run with an industry partner, offers undergraduate-level programmes in garment engineering and modern textile engineering and associate programmes in garment design and craft, knitwear and knitting technology and textile design. Its training facilities include a garment production workshop, an automated hanging line and automatic cutting and computerised flat-knitting labs.
