The applied arts faculty of Hanoi Architectural University, which calls itself both the Faculty of Applied Arts and the Faculty of Art and Design, trains designers in graphic design, fashion design and sculpture, with departments of basic fine arts and of art theory and history. The fashion design degree, opened at the university in 2016, lasts four and a half years and combines theory with parallel practical work; the faculty also runs projects with craft villages, such as a 2026 summer camp held with artisans. It is at Km 10 Nguyễn Trãi Street in Thanh Xuân, Hanoi.
