In short
Henan Vocational College of Art is the provincial public higher vocational college of the arts in Zhengzhou, with campuses on Zhengkai Avenue and on Wenhua Road; it traces its roots to the Henan Opera School founded in 1956 and was formed in 2006 by merging several provincial art schools. Most of its 14 teaching units and 54 programmes are in performing arts, media and fine art. Its 2026 admissions plan also includes three-year programmes in fashion and accessory design, product art design and stage art design and production, alongside environmental, display and visual communication design.
