In short

HEAD – Genève, the Geneva University of Art and Design, was formed in 2006 from the merger of the École supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the Haute école d'Arts appliqués, and is part of HES-SO Genève. It offers Bachelor's and Master's programmes in visual arts, cinema, interior architecture, visual communication, fashion design, and product, jewellery and accessories design. The Bachelor in Product, Jewellery and Accessories Design covers watches, jewellery and accessories, with a jewellery workshop, and the school runs a Chair of Watch Design with courses in watch construction, watch drawing and complications. The Fashion Design Bachelor includes a textile workshop for garment making.
