The HLM HLW Krems, at Kasernstraße 6 in Krems an der Donau, combines a Höhere Bundeslehranstalt für Mode with a school for commercial professions. Its five-year fashion school (HLM), with the specialisation fashion management and design, and its three-year fashion Fachschule, with the specialisation trade and creative production techniques, prepare for work in the clothing industry, with a compulsory one-month internship in fashion or textiles. Graduates of the HLM can go on to university or to the master craftsman class.
