In short
The HLMW9 in Vienna's 9th district offers fashion and business programmes: a five-year higher school of fashion with the options fashion design and graphics or fashion management and design, a three-year fashion school, a three-year course in fashion marketing and visual merchandising, a four-semester fashion Kolleg in applied womenswear or menswear design, and a one-year master school for men's tailors. In the Kolleg students develop and make their own collection, with fashion drawing, pattern construction and production techniques. The school states that it has also taught hearing-impaired students for more than sixty years, in spoken and Austrian sign language, and is located in a listed building on Michelbeuerngasse.
