In short

The Faculty of Design at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (h_da) offers a Diplom (FH) programme in Industrial Design lasting eight semesters, with an internship and a practical semester. Students learn to design products, systems and services and their interfaces through design projects, exercises, workshops and laboratory and workshop work. The faculty also teaches communication design.
