The Faculty of Design of Pforzheim University (Design PF) offers bachelor's degrees in jewellery, accessory design, fashion, industrial design, transportation design and visual communication, and master's degrees including jewellery and transportation design. The jewellery programme covers industrial series, limited editions and one-off pieces, with workshops supervised by master craftspeople and material specialists; the accessory design programme, which the faculty says is the only one in Germany, covers shoes, bags and luggage, belts and small leather goods, eyewear, scarves and hats. In transportation design the car is the central object of study, with most graduates working in the vehicle industry.
